Support for the Development of the 2025 Annual Work Plan of Akhuryan Municipality

The Urban Foundation for Sustainable Development in the framework of the USAID-funded “CapSLoc: Capacities for Sustained Locally-Led Development” project, has provided expert support to Akhuryan Municipality to more effectively organize the development of the community’s 2025 annual work plan (AWP).

Akhuryan Municipality has been provided with a development guide and tool that enable communities to reduce the time required for AWP development by about 5 times.

The capacities of specialists in the Development Programs, Tourism, Trade, Service and Advertising Department of Akhuryan Municipality have been developed.

The drafts of Akhuryan’s 2025 AWP and budget will soon be discussed during public hearings to be held in community development centers established in about 30 settlements of Akhuryan in the framework of CapSLoc project.

“CapSLoc: Capacities for Sustained Locally-Led Development” project is supported by the American people through the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).

“CapSLoc: Capacities for Sustained Locally-Led Development” project is implemented by “NGO Center” civil society development NGO, in cooperation with Urban Foundation, “Women for Development” NGO, “Armenian Caritas” benevolent NGO and “Compass” scientific-research, education and consulting center” NGO.
