EU4Culture Closing Conference

The Ijevan Municipality, with the support of the EU-funded EU4Culture project developed the cultural development strategy “We and Our Mountains” which was implemented within 2022 – 2024.

On 28-29 November 2024, in Chisinau, Republic of Moldova, the EU-funded project EU4Culture organised its Closing Conference celebrating the culmination of four years of impactful work. The event highlighted the EU4Culture contributions on the culture and creative sector in the Eastern Partnership countries.

The EU4Culture Closing Conference brought together international experts, city leaders, and key stakeholders from Cultural and Creative Industries to explore the sustainable role of culture in driving socio-economic development in non-capital cities in the Eastern Partnership countries.

Over two days, the conference highlighted the achievements of the EU4Culture project and discussed its long-term impact.

The official program also featured a multimedia exhibition showcasing the results of EU4Culture, highlighting success stories from the participating cities. The project is implemented by Goethe-Institut (Lead), Czech Centers, Danish Cultural Institute, and Institut Français de Géorgie.
