Nov 2024 Democracy Tech Hackathon

In November 2024, the first Democracy Tech Hackathon was hosted in Armenia. The event, led by the Danish Alliance of Democracies, highlighted the enthusiasm and dedication of young participants, who expressed a strong desire to make the event an annual occurrence.

The hackathon was made possible through the collaboration of various partners, including USAID Civil Society in Action project lead by Counterpart International and Urban Foundation, Impact Hub, Social Lab, Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom, and FEMINNO Global. The Armenian winner along with peers from Georgia, Ukraine, and Moldova, will travel to Copenhagen in May 2025 to pitch their projects at the global Democracy Summit.
