July 1 – Dec 31, 2011 – Hand in Hand: Empowering Youth in Yeghegnadzor

The goal of the project is to empower local intellectual youth of Yeghegnadzor, Vayots Dzor marz, to participate in the decision making process in their community in an informed way. Fulfillment of the following outcomes will lead towards this goal:
Outcome 1: Increased awareness of the selected target group of young people on relevant issues of public participation.
Outcome 2: Issues of importance for the youth of Yeghegnadzor identified and prioritized
Outcome 3. A Youth Initiative Center created at the local Branch of the Armenian State University of Economics
Outcome 4. The identified issue included in the LG’s work plan
