Dec 2019 – Aug 2020: Adopting Best Practices for Recycling Plastic Waste in Alaverdi

Goal: Create technical capacities in target consolidated communities for source separation of plastic waste and giving it adding value by recycling.

Objectives:

• Establish a startup facility for turning plastic waste, mainly PET bottles into shred that is much demanded in the market.
• Support local municipalities to improve waste management by crating necessary infrastructure for supplying plastic waste to the startup.
