Irrigation Rehabilitation Project Officially Launched in Mayakovski Village

An initiative aimed at saving drinking water through the rehabilitation of the irrigation system has been officially launched in Mayakovski village, Kotayk region.

As a result, about 220 households will be provided with irrigation water increasing irrigable lands by around 28 hectares. The project will also save approximately 105,500 m³ of drinking water annually and reduce water losses by about 55%.

The program is being implemented by Coca-Cola HBC Armenia, the Abovyan Municipality, and Shen NGO, in cooperation with the Urban Foundation.
