2011-2012 – Capacity for integrated urban development: INTEGR-ABLE

The project is funded under the first call of the EU ENPI Black Sea Basin Cross Border Cooperation Program (2011-2013), within the scope of measure “Creation of administrative capacity for design and implementation of local development policies”.The partner countries of the project are Armenia (lead partner), Romania, Georgia and Moldova.

The total budget of the project is €262,530.

The overall objective of the project is to achieve improved and synchronized capacity to plan integrated urban development and to promote it in the region.

Among specific objectives are:

to analyse and compare the current situation related to urban development in the action locations;

to enhance knowledge and skills of urban managers to apply integrated urban development approach in planning

to offer common methodology to address existing cross-sectoral urban dysfunctional issues through integrated approach

to disseminate and put in network experiences knowledge and resources and create a platform for exchange of ideas and practical issues with peers.
