March 1, 2018 – October 1, 2018 – CLEAN DIALOGUE: Exchange of Best Practices in Plastic Waste Management Between Armenia and Turkey CSOs and Practitioners

Project description

The proposed project intends to promote cooperation between Armenia and Turkey CSOs, waste management practitioners and relevant authorities, as well as businesses in the field of plastic waste management. Efficient management of the plastic waste will reduce its volumes and negative effects on human health and environment. Since the problem is of interest for environmental CSOs in both countries, the project will enable them to discuss solutions or mitigation measures jointly and share their practices with each other. In addition to reducing, the recycling of the plastic waste will not only prevent its dissemination but also will turn it into public good for the communities and will create economic benefits for businesses and individual residents.
