On 26thJanuary 2018, the research on Groundwater Utilization in Ararat Valley in the framework of PURE-Water projectwas presented to the public. The research was implemented by Arsen Aslanyan, the PURE-Water project expert.
The purpose of the research is to reveal the level of awareness, knowledge, stances and attitude of residents in regards to responsibilities of relevant bodies and competent authorities in the field of water resource management, water quality and supply services, control/supervision.
The meeting was attended by the USAID mission director Deborah Griser, representatives of the Ministry of Nature protection of RA, the Ministry of Health of RA, the Ministry of Justice of RA, the Ministry of Territorial Administration and Development, State Water Committee, representatives of Ararat and Armavir regional government, local and international organizations, experts of USAID funded ASPIRED project, project partner community’s Heads and representatives and others.
